Joanna Jensen, who sold a majority stake her natural skincare company Childs Farm to PZ Cussons in a £36.8m deal, was in Ireland last week to promote a new range of skincare products to combat the most severe dry and itchy skin, OatDerma.

She has invested in Chanelle McCoy’s business Pureis CBD and explained what she looks for in founders. “When I look for a founder-led business to invest in, what I look for is passion. What you want to do is find a founder who cares. That is what sets apart a business that is going to win, versus a business that might be a bit ambivalent.
